Active Directory does not work on the Synology DiskStation because the DiskStation runs on a Linux-based operating system, while Active Directory is a Microsoft technology designed to run on Windows Server. Active Directory requires specific Windows Server features and functionalities that are not present in the Linux environment of the DiskStation. As a result, the two systems are not compatible for running Active Directory services. **

To set the editing rights for the Video Station on the Synology DiskStation, you can go to the Video Station app and log in as an administrator. From there, navigate to the settings menu and look for the user permissions or sharing options. To set up your router to allow external access to the web station of your Synology DiskStation, you will need to configure port forwarding on your router. First, log in to your router's admin interface and locate the port forwarding settings. Then, create a new port forwarding rule for the port used by the web station (default is port 80 for HTTP and port 443 for HTTPS). Set the internal IP address of your Synology DiskStation as the destination for the port forwarding rule. Once the port forwarding rule is set up, external users will be able to access the web station of your Synology DiskStation using your public IP address. Keep in mind that enabling external access may pose security risks, so make sure to implement strong password protection and consider using HTTPS for secure communication. **

Additionally, there may be an issue with the address provided, causing the package to be undeliverable. It's also possible that there was a mistake in the shipping process, leading to the package being lost or misrouted. It's best to contact the shipping carrier or Beauty Bay customer service for more information on the status of the package. **

To access the DiskStation DS118 externally, you can set up remote access through Synology's QuickConnect service or by configuring a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. QuickConnect allows you to easily access your DiskStation over the internet without the need for complex network settings. Alternatively, setting up a VPN connection provides a more secure way to access your DiskStation remotely by creating a private network connection over the internet. Both methods will allow you to access your DiskStation DS118 from anywhere with an internet connection. **

Bay leaf is an aromatic leaf commonly used in cooking to add flavor to dishes. It comes from the bay laurel tree and has a subtle, earthy flavor. Bay leaves are typically used whole and are added to soups, stews, sauces, and braises to infuse the dish with their unique taste. They are often removed before serving as they can be tough and difficult to chew. **
